Manjit Singh Khalsa has discovered historical places of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib ji, the first Guru of the Sikhs in Nepal. When these places was discovered their places condition was very bad. The most important for the Sikh Religion is the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji( Holy Book of Sikhs) when Manjit Singh saw Holy Book of Sikhs. There was paper worm in the texts due to water falling from the roofs of the building where Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji was. After seeing all of this, he first contacted Jathedar Of Akal Takhat Sri Harmandir Sahib Jathedar Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti ji. The Jathedar ji arrived in Nepal with few man who have knowledge of Sikh Religion. There were many wise and knowledgeable men among them. He said it was all a Sikh Heritage but still get information from the Nepal Govt.’s Offices. My brothers would go with me everywhere. It took a long time and we had to face a lot of difficulties. When we found out from the Nepal Govt. Agencies that it was the “ King Of Nepal” who settled on this land in the name of The First Sikh Guru Nanak Sahibji in 1515-1516. Guru Nanak Sahib ji lived in Kathmandu, Nepal one year and fourteen days. All places and land related with Sikh Guru Nanak Sahib ji.
Then my brothers and I started telling people and went Takhat Sri Harmandir Sahib and Prabandhak Committee, Takhat Sri Keshgarh Sahib and Prabhandhak Committee, Takhat Sachkhand Sri Hajur Sahib and Prabandhak Committee and all Delhi Gurudwara’s Parbhandahak Committee. Everyone said you start the service, we are with you. Then we came to America and the only thing to keep in mind, I would like to tell the world the history of Sikhs which is connected to Nepal. I am sad and wondering how service can be…,
One day I met a Guru’s Beloved Singh. He was an American Sikh. He said why are you sad, I told him we have got the Ancient Heritage of Sikhs in Nepal. I told people but no one ready to go Nepal for service. He said I would go there and see if I feel good then I will help you. While he was studying in Barkley, California, USA. He met a Yogi Bhajan Khalsa and he was very impressed with Sikhism and he took Amrit. When I told him whole story then he went to Nepal. He saw everything and called me and said I will help you. In this way, with the Grace of God, get the approval from Govt. Of Nepal Offices and start the service. I want to thank Everyone who supported me.
Thanks All
Manjit Singh Khalsa
