I am Manjit Singh. In 1991 I came across a history literature which said that Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji had visited many places to spread his preaching all across the globe, one such place was Kathmandu. I inquired many people about this but no one knew about his visit to Kathmandu. I was curious to know about this place and was wondering if Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji had indeed visited this place there must be some artifact remains there.

In 1992 I visited Nepal with a big question in my mind as to why no Sikh knows about the visit of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji to this place. I want to find and know this place and want to tell the whole world about it.

I asked every person I can, if they have any answer to my question. After roaming around
for many days, one day I came across a shopkeeper, who told a bearded, long-haired man visit his shop regularly and that he is a pure Sikh and he can answer all my queries as Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji visit his home once. I took the phone number of that gentleman and asked the shopkeeper to inform me as and when that person visits his shop.

After few days, the shopkeeper rang me up to and I wasted no time in reaching his shop. As I reached the shop, I greeted that Sikh gentleman and he introduced himself as Nemmuni. Upon asking Nemmuni accepted that Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji visited his home once. Listening this I was delighted and saying “Waheguru” I thanked God that he accepted my prayers.
